Art Van PROMOTIONAL EMAILS

At Art Van Furniture we split our emails into two categories, promotional and branding. This is the promotional side of our emails, where we played up the offers and low prices. We used these to drive business into the stores and on to the website.

2020 - Presidents Day

Like Memorial Day and Labor Day, Presidents Day is another one of our huge tentpole events. Because of my previous experience executing the email campaigns for our other huge events, I was tasked with running Presidents Day 2020.

  • Researching industry standards and competitors’ past campaigns
  • Concepting multiple wireframes and templates for our directors and executives to narrow down
  • Building out ~40 emails for a 3 week sales
  • Worked with fellow designers, developers, copywriters, and our marketing team to execute our plan and implement the campaign flawlessly throughout all channels
  • Presenting a final campaign to our directors and executives

2019 - Black Friday

As you know, Black Friday is THE biggest selling period for all retail markets, so of course we took it very seriously in the furniture business. This email campaign had to be hard hitting and loaded with offers, while also visually interesting to keep our guests coming back for more day after day.

2019 - 60th Anniversary

Art Van Furniture was started buy Art Van Elslander in 1959, making fall 2019 the 60th anniversary for the company. We developed this email campaign to celebrate the anniversary, offer our customers exclusive offers, and inform our guests about who we are and what we do.

2019 - Labor Day

Our tentpole holidays are the 10 biggest events of the year that carry our business throughout the fiscal year. Labor Day is one of our biggest selling times of the year and I was tasked with designing the emails for Labor Day 2019.
